A couple of months ago, we made a nuclear pilgrimage of sorts to Oak Ridge, Tennessee. You’ll find the fruits of the visit below in the form of Part Three of our Tennessee technology road trip.
This episode contains a look at the start-up Standard Nuclear, which hopes to become the main fuel supplier for a new class of small, safe nuclear reactors. These small reactors represent a major part of the US’s attempt to revive its nuclear energy industry and could be key to the country’s hope of competing against China on the energy front in the years to come.
For more on Standard Nuclear, we’ve got a podcast with the company’s founders right here.
Enjoy!
